Eligibility Criteria for RRB Group D Recruitment 2025
Age Limit (As of 1st January 2025)
The minimum age to apply for the RRB Group D posts is 18 years, and the maximum age is 36 years.
Age Relaxation
SC/ST candidates get a relaxation of 5 years.
OBC candidates get a relaxation of 3 years.
PwD (Unreserved) candidates get a relaxation of 10 years.
PwD (OBC) candidates get a relaxation of 13 years.
PwD (SC/ST) candidates get a relaxation of 15 years.
Educational Qualification
To be eligible for RRB Group D 2025, candidates must meet any of the following qualifications:

Selection Process for RRB Group D 2025
The selection process consists of four stages:
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Candidates must qualify for a Computer-Based Test (CBT), which consists of 100 questions and is 90 minutes long.
The subjects included in the CBT are:
General Science – 25 questions
Mathematics – 25 questions
General Intelligence & Reasoning – 30 questions
General Awareness & Current Affairs – 20 questions
There is negative marking, and 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who clear the CBT will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Female candidates must lift 20 kg and carry it 100 meters in 2 minutes without putting it down.
Male candidates must complete a 1000-meter run in 4 minutes and 15 seconds.
Female candidates must complete a 1000-meter run in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
3. Document Verification (DV)
Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification based on their CBT and PET performance.
4. Medical Examination (ME)
Finally, selected candidates must pass a Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration.

The syllabus includes Number System, BODMAS, LCM, HCF, Ratio & Proportion, Percentages, Time & Work, Simple & Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, and Pipes & Cistern.
